NYARA is always in need of volunteers to assist during races. It's the best way to learn about adventure racing and assist your racing buddies - and you can often earn coveted NYARA Bucks for your efforts! Email volunteer@nyara.org

Do you have good organizational skills? Want to show other members your favorite area to train in? Do you want to challenge other NYARA members?

NYARA is looking for members to direct or help out at training clinics. These clinics can be race format or instructional.

Here's how:

1. Think of a challenging course in your area that involves at least two adventure racing disciplines
2. Make sure the event is has a reasonable timeline and budget
3. Make sure it's safe
4. See if permits are feasible or necessary to obtain
5. Contact NYARA with your idea

Approved ideas will receive 100% funding and logistical guidance, and event directors who are NYARA members are eligible to receive up to 20% of the clinic fees for their personal expenses, time and effort
