New York, NY - You don't want to read one, and we don't feel like writing one. Spread the word: In response to this month's tragedy at New York's World Trade Center, NYARA is donating all proceeds from NYARA T-shirt sales to the Widow and Children's Fund for New York Police Officers and Firemen. We are adventure racers, but it's New York's firemen and police officers, and the thousands that have turned out as volunteers to help us get through the past week and the long months ahead, that have exhibited true bravery. NYARA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to spreading news about adventure racing and maintaining a network among New Yorkers with a nasty jones for the outdoors. NYARA members have access to training clinics and association-sponsored races that teach skills necessary in adventure racing. Keep your eyes open for more news about adventure racing in the world's greatest city, from the only organization with the resources and know-how to bring it on. # # # |
