New York, NY - Whatchoo doing July 20th? We've got something important and wonderful for your calendar--on July 20th, please join us in celebration of New York City's Ladder 5. NYARA lost six firefighters from Ladder 5 last fall, and we've finally found the perfect way to remember their full lives. Register now for the Ladder 5/5-Mile, New York's hardest five-mile run. In true form, we'll run hard along the sandy beach of Staten Island's Wolfs Lake, covering some of the most rugged terrain to be found in the Greenbelt. Thanks to our generous sponsors, the Grant City Tavern and Staten Island Boat sales, we'll also play hard: be sure to stay for the BBQ afterwards, staffed nearly entirely by the proud members of the FDNY.
