This training clinic provides the opportunity for novice adventure racers to be guided through techniques of adventure racing navigation in a real environment, or for more experienced navigators to practice their skills in race-simulated conditions.

NYARA will provide maps for this clinic; upon completion you can keep the map. The map we will be using will be 1:48,000 "Topo" computer generated map with limited trails and limited roads. Navigation will require dead reckoning with terrain association. |
