The Ladder 5 Cross-Country Challenge is a 10 or 5-kilometer endurance adventure run in the Wolfe's Pond Park Trail System in Staten Island, New York.
Runners will be honoring members of FDNY Ladder 5 who died in the line of duty on 9-11-2001 at the World Trade Center. These men were avid runners who participated in and won the first HIGH ROCK CHALLENGE (FDNY division) to help raise funds to support a fallen Police Officer's family.
Now we run to show our support for these heroes.
