The Ladder 5 Cross-Country Challenge is a 5 kilometer endurance adventure run in the Wolfe's Pond Park Trail System in Staten Island, New York. Runners will be honoring members of FDNY Ladder 5 who died in the line of duty on 9-11-2001 at the World Trade Center. These men were avid runners who participated in and won the first HIGH ROCK CHALLENGE (FDNY division) to help raise funds to support a fallen Police Officer's family. Now we run to show our support for these heroes. |

Race Bag Pickup |
This year race bag pick up will be held at THE GRANT CITY TAVERN, 132 Fremont Ave, Staten Island from 7pm- 10pm on July 6th. We also have pick up on race day morning from 8:30- 9:30am at the park. As in years past we will have a full array of children's activites and great live music. And who can forget the now famous Bar-B-Que. So make sure you clear your calandar and bring your beach and picnic gear for a great day at one of NYC's most beautiful parks. |
