Event Info:

Saturday, March 28, 2009, 10:00 AM
Kanawauke Circle Parking Lot
Seven Lakes Drive - Harriman State Park
Registration open at 8:30am.
Race Breif at 9:45am.
Race Start is at 10am.
6 Hour race time limit
Course closes at 4pm sharp.

The Scoop:

Checkpoints are scattered in the woods over a wide area.
Each control will have a point value.
Teams must strategize in determining which controls to go after and still make it back before the cut-off.
Teams arriving late will have points deducted from their total: the highest valued control for each minute beginning at 4:01pm
MY time!! The sweet thing is that you can do as much of the course as you like!
The course will be friendly at all levels 'cos YOU pick the checkpoints to go after!

A Wee Poem About The Event:

A year has past, since we last played the fool in the woods.
He's been kniving long, and now has gone to great lengths to fool you all.
You'll find this year a different sport where thinking will be needed.
Don't forget your PEN, you'll need when the CP's you will visit.
The one that wins may not be, the one who visits the most.
You'll find out soon enough, at the briefing as the FOOL lets the cat out.
